Springtime Catholic Books and Our Lady of Sorrows Parish is excited to offer a Catholic book fair here at OLS! After the Sunday Masses April 26th and 27th the best Catholic books, CDs, and movies will be sold outside the front doors of OLS Church. (If the weather does not permit, the book fair will take place in the front vestibule of the Church.)
The Saints Go Marching In!
On April 27th Popes John Paul II and John XXIII will be declared saints during a ceremony in Vatican City. On April 27th from 9:05 to 9:50 a.m. you are invited to learn more about these two holy men as-well-as the canonization process here at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. (This event will take place between the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Masses right in the Church pews.) Seminarian Zach Pinaire (assigned to OLS) is our presenter.

For more information about St. Louis Life Teen and this event in particular,
Whether you are a life-long member of Our Lady of Sorrows or a newly registered member, the Gospel speaks of those who came early or late to the vineyard as equal beneficiaries of God's generous and gracious gifts. Together we are living stones of the temple which has Jesus Christ as both its cornerstone and keystone.
The Eucharist is at the center of our parish life. It is at the Eucharist where we welcome each other and share our vision of faith. Our weekend Mass schedule is Saturday evening at 5:00 pm and Sunday morning at 8:00 and 10:00 am. We look forward to worshiping with you.
We welcome you to a very vibrant parish and invite you to participate in our parish activities, and to join any parish organization(s) that might interest you. We hope that you will benefit from the various programs and ministries detailed in these pages.
Together we are on a journey to grow in faith. We welcome your presence among us as we help to build the City of God.
We, the Catholic community of Our Lady of Sorrows, are disciples of Jesus Christ through our Baptism. Nourished by Word and Sacrament we seek to form adults, teens and children in the ways of the Gospel, while welcoming new members to our parish and our Catholic faith. As a Eucharistic people, guided by the Holy Spirit, we minister to all, especially the ill, elderly and those in need, through works of fellowship, charity and justice. We strive to continue the mission of our parish begun a century ago through the prayerful intercession of Mary, Our Mother.
